A shipping industry veteran, Dag founded Chinsay after 30 years in the freight and maritime sector. Prior to launching Chinsay in 2000, Dag was co-founder of Tufton Oceanic, as well as the former Head of Shipping, Corporate Finance at Carnegie Investment Bank.
Chief Executive Officer
Prior to assuming the role of CEO in July 2018, Colin was Director of Product Strategy and Managing Director of Chinsay in Singapore. Colin previously worked in product and business development at London Clearing House and Cleartrade Exchange after fifteen years’ experience delivering IT solutions within the telecoms, media and logistics industries.
Chief Commercial Officer
Tony joined Chinsay in 2018 to strengthen the commercial team in Singapore and brings to the team extensive experience from the global freight market. Prior to Chinsay, Tony traded freight, iron ore and LPG at BHP and was instrumental in building up and managing Thurlestone Shipping in Australasia.
Chief Operating Officer
Carsten joined Chinsay in 2015 to head up Business Development before assuming the position of COO. Carsten has extensive experience in the global liner industry from his time on the strategy team at Maersk Line following stints at Danske Private Equity and PwC (Corporate Finance).
Chief Financial Officer
Claes joined Chinsay in 2016 and assumed the position of CFO in 2017. Claes has a background in base metals and dry bulk trading with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and holds a M.Sc. in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Jon joined Chinsay in 2017 as VP, Engineering to helm our in-house development team. Jon has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry as a developer, systems architect and team leader. Prior to Chinsay, Jon worked for and consulted to various companies such as Tradera (acquired by Paypal), factor10 and Sirius International Insurance.
Chief Security Officer
Alexander has been part of the Chinsay Management and global sales teams since 2001 and is responsible for Group Security and Compliance. Prior to Chinsay, Alexander gained extensive experience within shipping and technology from his time holding senior managerial positions with the Gulf Agency Company and Philips.
